6 Tips to Improve Your Facebook Likes, Shares & Comments

Understanding the retail business model

1. Keep your posts simple, concise and under 80 characters to increase audience engagement.

2. Ask a question related to your brand, products and/or services and generate more feedback from your audience! e.g. “what’s your favorite thing about …?” “are you ready to …?”

3. Posts with pictures and videos generate significantly more engagement than the average text post, with more likes, shares and comments!

4. Tweak headlines and descriptions of links posted to Facebook and make them more relevant and interesting to your audience!

5. Have a specific call-to-action within the first 90 characters of your post and tell your audience what you want them to do. “… if you agree like, if you disagree comment” “like if you want to …” “caption this!”


6. Do not automate your social media posts, schedule them instead and avoid being penalized!
